My Cat Has One Job: Sit on My Couch and Look Judgy
My cat, Meowzart, spends about 18 hours a day on the same corner of my couch. It's his couch, technically. I just pay the mortgage. One night he was sprawled out like he'd just finished a 12-hour shift, and I thought: this couch needs to reflect its true ruler. So I went looking for a funny personalized pet decor piece to jazz up the living room.

Ordering Was Almost Too Easy
I found a site that lets you put your pet's name on stuff — t-shirts, tote bags, caps, pillow covers, the whole deal. I settled on a pillow cover with a cat name pun. Meowzart + Mozart = "Meowzart: A Little Night Music (and Chaos)." I typed it in, second-guessed the spelling for ten minutes, and worried it would come out looking like a cheap bumper sticker. $22 later, I hit order and forgot about it.
The Arrival
The pillow cover showed up about a week later, folded in a plain mailer. The color was a nice warm gray, the print was crisp, and the pun landed exactly right. I stuffed an old insert inside, tossed it on the couch, and waited.
Meowzart walked over, sniffed it, and sat directly on top of his own name. Rude. But also perfect.
Now It's a Whole Thing
Every guest who walks in reads the pillow cover out loud and laughs. My neighbor asked where I got it. My sister took a picture for her group chat. It's become this tiny personalized pet decor moment that makes people ask about my cat before they even see him.
I didn't expect a pillow to make my living room feel more like mine, but here we are. Meowzart still doesn't care. He just likes that there's one more soft thing to ignore me from.
