The Search for the Right Words
My dog has a habit of flopping onto my feet every time I sit down. Not next to me — directly on top of my feet. It's annoying and also the best part of my day. I wanted a shirt that captured that feeling, something only a fellow dog person would get.
So I started hunting for dog love quotes. Turns out there are about a million, and half of them are way too cheesy for me. I spent a few evenings scrolling, saving a couple, deleting them, saving them again.
Ordering Was Almost Too Easy

A small hiccup: I ordered a size up because I like my tees roomy, then panicked it would look like a tent. (It didn't.)

The package arrived on a rainy Tuesday, which felt right for a cozy shirt day. The fabric was softer than I expected, and the quote printed clean and readable — no fading or smudging.
My dog's reaction? He sniffed it once, then fell asleep on it. I'm choosing to interpret that as approval.
